Well its the middle of June and the weather is heating up for sure, meaning that the Bar does not get to go out as often as I, and or he would like.
Some days are hotter than others and on the cooler days I try to get him out as much as possible, and even on the hotter days we have lots of time to get “play time” in as we are early risers.
Friday June 11th marked the 6th month anniversary of Luther’s death, something that quite honestly snuck up on me.
Ironically it was actually 6 months to the day when I took him to the vet for the last time, not often that the anniversary lands on the same day of the week is it?
When I race I have Luther in my heart as my motivation, as well as having his name tattooed on my forearm and I will be drawing on him over the summer to get me through many laps of intense racing in the chase of fast times.
Miss ya big guy!

Great thoughts and thanks for sharing. I think all of us “pet owners” have lost that same Luther at one time or another. It’s hard, they say it gets better but I’m not convinced.
Thanks again.
