Bar is now one happy pup as this morning I took him to the vet to have his staples removed.

Now that the staples are out of his incisions, he will no longer need to wear his cone to stop him licking his leg, meaning that he can finally give his pee pee a thorough cleaning, LOL.

The vet was amazed at the progress Bar has made after only 9 days post-op, but despite his progress, the rehab plan stays the same.

Bar’s next trip to the vet will be in 7 weeks when he will have an x-ray to determine if the bones of his tibia and femur are fusing together properly.

He also graduates to 10 minute walks starting tomorrow, and we’ll be trekking over to my brother and Colleen’s house so Bar can socialize with his aunt and uncle!
